Exhibitions

To celebrate and share the project’s photography, we held the opening exhibition The Life Worlds of Birth Cohorts in London at UCL East, Stratford, June 17-29th 2026. 

Here visitors could view the project photography arranged by theme, listen to audio recordings of the cohort participants’ observations, and explore a set of ‘concertina’ books specific to each cohort.

This was the first in a series of exhibitions, with local exhibitions to follow in the four cohort locations of Porto, Pelotas, Rotterdam and Bristol in September and October this year.
